The location of the Piuray Outdoor Center offers not just a beautiful lagoon, but also the mountains, archaeological centers, communities and viewpoints that surround it. We offer different land-based activities for enjoying all of it, a walk, or riding a bicycle.
We offer bird watching sessions guided by a specialist who will help you identify the type of birds you spot through your binoculars, allowing you to learn more about the unique characteristics and details of each bird that you find.
Our center is strategically located, being close to several archaeological sites, communities and viewpoints.
Camping on the shores of the Piuray Lagoon is certainly special. We organize customized programs according to the needs of our customers. Our campsites have all of the amenities you’ll need, from tents, bathrooms, and specialized equipment toguides and services to make the experience memorable.
From Piuray Outdoor Center, there are many hiking routes to choose from, ranging from several short hikes ideal for families to more demanding, longer routes. One of our favorite walks is the route that goes to Uchuycusco, a spectacular Inca site.
Archery is a unique experience in Piuray; It is an excellent relaxing activity that requires a lot of focus, precision and calm.
We offer Yoga sessions in front of the Piuray Lagoon led by instructors specialized in this practice.
